On November 2, 2019 Heidi was at the Chanhassen Artisan Fair. There were books, paintings, photography and jewelry. It was at the Chanhassen Recreation Center at 2310 Coulter Blvd., Chanhassen.

On December 7th from 10 am. to 2 p.m. Heidi was at the Chanhassen Recreation Center for the Holiday Boutique from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Victoria Art Center Holiday Show
Heidi was at the 2019 ACCC Holiday Show in Victoria, MN. The show ran from Nov. 5th to Dec. 21st. The store is at 7021 Victoria Dr., in Victoria and open Wed., Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Heidi Skarie was at the Nordic Music Festival in Victoria at the Lions Park on September 7, 2019. She was at the Viking exhibit. They display Viking weapons, have demonstration sword fights and do Nordic craft demonstrations.
Heidi and Anna Skarie were at the Tofte Park fair on the Fourth of July in Tofte, MN on beautiful Lake Superior. It was a fun event with races in the morning, a parade in the afternoon, and a live band and booths at the park. The evening ended with a great firework display over Lake Superior.

2019 ARTSTOCK ART, WINE & MUSIC FESTIVAL – 9TH ANNUAL!
Heidi Skarie was at ArtStock with the Arts Consortium of Carver County. The theme was Wood Stock.
Art Lovers and Community Members descended upon Parley Lake Winery for the opportunity to purchase great art and to enjoy fine wine, food and music.
The Arts Consortium of Carver County welcomed all artists and festival-goers to the 2019 ArtStock Art, Wine & Music Festival which includes an assortment of exciting new artists, as well as old favorites, representing diverse media such as photography, sculpture, wearable arts, glass, fibers, painting, and more… there is truly something for everyone!
Heidi Skarie was at Chaska River City Days on July 26 and 26th with the Carver County Authors. It was the 44th year of food, music, and community events. It was held in the City Square. 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, so this year’s theme was “groovy and so ’60s,”
VICTORIA FINE ART FAIR
Heidi Skarie was at the Victoria Art Fair with the Carver County Authors on August 3rd.
It was the Arts Consortium of Carver County 3rd annual Victoria Fine Art Fair! This year they had a French theme complete with French Wine, Food and of course the Eiffel Tower. The French themed Art Fair was held in conjunction with the German Volksfest in Victoria, bringing them together like the Rhine River! There was music, French wines, French food and pastries and fine art for sale in this lovely lakeside setting in Victoria.
Victoria is home to the Arts Consortium’s Arts Center in the Notermann Building under Ruby’s Roost and Winnie Lu. Come see us at the Arts Center during the Victoria Fine Art Fair!

New Event: Book Launch of Star Rider and the Golden Threads
Saturday, September 16, 2018 is a book launch for Star Rider and the Golden Threads. It will be in the party room at Powder Ridge Apartments, 1371 Lake Dr. W., Chanhassen, MN at 1:30. The event will include a talk, a reading and a book signing. Refreshments will be served. All are invited.
Nordic Music Festival in Victoria, MN on September 8, 2018
Dressed in costume, Heidi was at the Viking table with other authors, a woman card weaving, a man doing chainmaille, and a table with Viking weapons. There were also sword fights demonstrations. It was a fun event with live music all day in two different locations.

The Chanhassen Writers’ Group just published an anthology. Our goal is to encourage and publish local writers of poetry, creative nonfiction and fiction. Everyone published in the book is a member of the writers’ group currently meeting at the Chanhassen Library. Twenty four authors contributed to this publication.

Summer Dreaming Challenge
This summer I’ve been invited to participate in a Summer Dreaming Challenge. The event is to encourage children to remember and write down their dreams. There will be tips and games to help children bring their dream intentions into their waking lives, and do things in their waking lives that will enhance their dreams. These will include stories of famous dreams that changed people’s lives. The event will include interviews with different authors who have written about dreams or whose book came from a dream. Star Rider on the Razor’s Edge came from a dream, so I was invited to be one of the authors.
